The challenge

At Asturias, training is not an option: it is a strategic lever in the service of field performance. But between the diversity of jobs, operational constraints, and the urgency to stay up to date on technical, regulatory or product issues, the challenge was significant.

How to Quickly and Effectively Train All Employees, from headquarters to warehouse workers in agencies, while respecting their time constraints and daily realities?

The initial situation revealed several obstacles:

  • Formats that are too long, too theoretical, and not very compatible with the steady pace in agencies.
  • A dependence on face-to-face meetings made obsolete by new post-COVID uses: less travel, more agility expected.
  • A rise in environmental and local standards (roofs, materials, techniques, etc.) requiring frequent and targeted updates.
  • A useful internal platform, but limited to the use of HR tools, without a strong business anchor.

The roofs are not the same in Lille as in Marseille. We needed training that could adapt to each region, to each technical context, and above all to follow the pace of the field.

Moreover, the expectations of employees have evolved: more autonomy, more flexibility, more meaning. The need was clear:

➡️ Transforming training into a daily routine — not a constraint.
➡️ Allow everyone to improve their skills, regardless of their position or initial level.

Asturiana needed a tool that lived up to its ambitions: simple, mobile, engaging, and capable of adapting as quickly as its products evolved. A tool designed for the reality on the ground.

The Deployment of Beedeez

Emmanuelle Fredier, HR Director of Asturienne, is not at her first transformation project. Curious about HR innovations and convinced that training can become a real driver of performance, she decided to test Beedeez, on the recommendation of the Saint-Gobain group.

The objective? Modernize Asturian's educational approach by adapting it to the concrete uses of its field collaborators.

In a few months, a real mobile training ecosystem is being set up:

✔️ Capsules produced in connection with supplier solutions to facilitate sales and agency advice.
✔️ HR and process modules to support the integration of new employees.
✔️ Courses on regulatory issues (energy transition, local standards, etc.) updated in real time, according to regional specificities.
✔️ Content adapted to all positions, from warehouse workers to managers, including support functions.

Mobile learning is thus becoming a training reflex. Employees can train during a break, between two customers, or when their branch opens. No need for a computer or a permanent connection: everything is available in the application, even offline.

This gradual but structured deployment allows training to be anchored in daily uses, without interruption or overload.
The result: a real, continuous increase in skills, and in line with business priorities.

The results

After only a few months of implementation, the results are already visible and largely positive.

The deployment of Beedeez at Asturienne made it possible to structure learning in a more fluid, faster way, and above all more connected to the real needs of the field. The tool was adopted naturally by employees, thanks to its simplicity, its flexibility of use, and its accessibility in mobility.

The teams quickly noticed an increase in skills on complex technical issues, especially when launching new solutions related to insulation or photovoltaic panels.
